What is included in the tour?

How long does the tour last?
Plan on 10 to 12 hours door to door. The Hana side runs at your pace and the summit is timed to sunset.
How cold is it at the summit?
Often 30 to 40 degrees colder than the coast, with wind. Bring a real jacket, long pants and closed shoes for the last stop.
Are meals provided?
Snacks, water and refreshments are on board all day. We stop for lunch in or near Hana, and the banana bread stands are on the way.
Is the tour suitable for children or seniors?
Yes. The tour is private, so we adjust the pace, the walking and the stops. The summit is at 10,000 feet, so tell us about any health concerns when you book.
Is there a cancellation policy?

Are gratuities included in the price?
No. Tips are not included and are always appreciated by your guide.
Can we customize the tour during the day?
Absolutely. Skip a stop, add one, stay longer at the pool. The one fixed point is leaving Hana in time for sunset.
