1. Introduction
Our website, MauiRainbowTours.com (hereinafter: "the website") is a plain static website. In the document below we inform you about the use of cookies and related technologies on our website. The short version: it does not use any.
2. Cookies
When you visit a website it can be necessary to store and/or read certain data from your device by using technologies such as cookies. This website stores nothing on your device and reads nothing from it.
2.1 Technical or functional cookies. None. The website has no login, no shopping cart and no saved preferences, so it has no need for functional cookies.
2.2 Statistics cookies. None. We do not use analytics of any kind and do not measure how you use the website.
2.3 Marketing/Tracking cookies. None. We do not build user profiles, show advertising, or track you on this website or across other websites.
2.4 Social media. The website embeds no content from social networks, so no social network places cookies through it. If we link to a social network, that link takes you to their website, where their own privacy statement applies.
3. Placed cookies
None. The website loads no third-party scripts, fonts, maps, videos or forms. Beyond its own pages it talks only to this same domain: it reads our tour availability file (which contains no information about you), and when you choose to send a booking request, it sends that request to our own server. No third party receives anything.
4. Browser and device based consent
Because the website places no cookies, there is nothing to consent to and no cookie pop-up. Should that ever change, we will ask for your consent first, and you will have the right to opt out of any non-functional cookies.
5. Enabling, disabling and deleting cookies
You can use your internet browser to automatically or manually delete cookies, to block certain cookies, or to be notified each time a cookie is placed. For more information about these options, please refer to the Help section of your browser. This website works fully with all cookies disabled.
6. Your rights with respect to personal data
You have the following rights with respect to your personal data:
- you may submit a request for access to the data we process about you;
- you may object to the processing;
- you may request an overview, in a commonly used format, of the data we process about you;
- you may request correction or deletion of the data if it is incorrect or not or no longer relevant, or ask to restrict the processing of the data.
To exercise these rights, please contact us using the details at the bottom of this page. If you have a complaint about how we handle your data, we would like to hear from you. For more information about your rights, please refer to our Privacy Statement.

Privacy Statement
This privacy statement was last changed on September 16, 2026, last checked on September 16, 2026, and applies to citizens and legal permanent residents of the United States.
In this privacy statement, we explain what we do with the data we obtain about you via MauiRainbowTours.com. We recommend you carefully read this statement. In our processing we comply with the requirements of privacy legislation. That means, among other things, that:
- we clearly state the purposes for which we process personal data. We do this by means of this privacy statement;
- we limit our collection of personal data to only the personal data required for legitimate purposes;
- we first request your explicit consent to process your personal data in cases requiring your consent;
- we take appropriate security measures to protect your personal data and also require this from parties that process personal data on our behalf;
- we respect your right to access your personal data or have it corrected or deleted, at your request.
If you have any questions, or want to know exactly what data we keep of you, please contact us.
1. What we collect and why
Browsing the website collects nothing. When you choose to send a booking request, the details you entered (your name, phone number, party size, pickup spot, tour, date and any notes for your guide) are sent to our own server so we can hold your request and match your payment to it, and your own email app opens with the same text so you have a copy and a direct line to us. We use that information to reply to you and to run your tour, and for nothing else. We do not add you to a mailing list, and you can ask us to delete a request at any time using the contact details below.
2. Sharing with other parties
We only share or disclose this data to other recipients for the following purposes:
- Email. Mail to our address is forwarded by our domain registrar (Porkbun, United States) to a Google Workspace mailbox (Google, United States). Purpose: receiving and answering your booking.
- Website hosting. The website is served by a server rented from Hetzner Online (European Union). Purpose: serving these pages. The server keeps ordinary access logs, including IP address and the page requested. We use them to keep the site running and to count how often a printed card or an ad brought someone here. They are not used to build a profile of you.
- Payments, when offered online. Card payments are processed by Stripe (United States). Stripe receives your card details directly; we never see or store your card number. Purpose: taking payment for your booking.
3. Disclosure practices
We disclose personal information if we are required by law or by a court order, in response to a law enforcement agency, to the extent permitted under other provisions of law, to provide information, or for an investigation on a matter related to public safety.
If our website or organization is taken over, sold, or involved in a merger or acquisition, your details may be disclosed to our advisers and any prospective purchasers and will be passed on to the new owners.
4. How we respond to Do Not Track signals and Global Privacy Control
We do not track your browsing behavior, so Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals are honored by default. There is nothing to switch off.
5. Cookies
Our website uses no cookies. For details, please refer to our Cookie Policy above.
6. Security
We are committed to the security of personal data. We take appropriate security measures to limit abuse of and unauthorized access to personal data. Only the people who run your tour have access to your booking details, access is protected, and our security measures are reviewed regularly.
7. Third-party websites
This privacy statement does not apply to third-party websites connected by links on our website. We cannot guarantee that these third parties handle your personal data in a reliable or secure manner. We recommend you read the privacy statements of these websites prior to making use of them.
8. Amendments to this privacy statement
We reserve the right to make amendments to this privacy statement. It is recommended that you consult this privacy statement regularly in order to be aware of any changes. In addition, we will actively inform you wherever possible.
9. Accessing and modifying your data
If you have any questions or want to know which personal data we have about you, please contact us. Please make sure to always clearly state who you are, so that we can be certain that we do not modify or delete any data of the wrong person. We shall provide the requested information only upon receipt of a verifiable consumer request. You can contact us by using the information below.
9.1 You have the following rights with respect to your personal data
- You may submit a request for access to the data we process about you.
- You may object to the processing.
- You may request an overview, in a commonly used format, of the data we process about you.
- You may request correction or deletion of the data if it is incorrect or not or no longer relevant, or ask to restrict the processing of the data.
- You may appeal our decision whenever we refuse to take action on a request and submit a complaint with the competent authority if your appeal is denied.
10. Children
Our website is not designed to attract children and it is not our intent to collect personal data from children under the age of consent in their country of residence. We therefore request that children under the age of consent do not submit any personal data to us.
