The Road to Hana in Half a Day!
Short on time, or in port for the day? The Half Day Road to Hana gives you the heart of the drive in four to six hours: the rainforest coast, a waterfall, a black sand beach and the banana bread, without the long haul to Hana and back.
It is private, in a luxury SUV such as a Cadillac Escalade, Chevrolet Suburban or Tahoe, with a local guide who picks the stops that fit your time. Morning or afternoon, we build the route around your pickup time and what you most want to see.
Pickup is door to door from your hotel, condo or the cruise pier, and we plan the turnaround so cruise guests are back at the ship with time to spare.

Itinerary
Fully customizable itinerary. No two days with us are alike. With half a day we go as far as the time allows and make it count. A sample of what yours could look like:
Hoʻokipa Beach Park
Surfers and, most days, Hawaiian green sea turtles resting on the sand. A quick first stop on the way out.
Twin Falls or a nearby waterfall
The first waterfalls of the drive, with a pool to cool off in if you want.
Keʻanae Peninsula
Waves on black lava, taro fields and the big coastal view. The classic photo stop.

Kaumahina State Wayside

Start times are flexible. Choose your pickup spot when you book, whether that is your hotel lobby, the cruise port or a specific address, and tell us your ship's all-aboard time if you have one. We plan the day around it.

How far does the half day go?
Usually to Keʻanae and back, sometimes a little farther. The full drive to Hana needs the full day tour.
Is this the right tour for a cruise day?
Yes. It is built for it. Tell us your all-aboard time and we plan the turnaround with a comfortable margin.
What is included in the tour?

Can we swim?
At most waterfall stops, yes, conditions allowing. Bring swimwear and a towel.

Yes. The tour is private, so we set the pace and the walking to your group.
Is there a cancellation policy?
