Every tour contributes to the ability to give back to this Hāna program. Ma Ka Hana Ka ʻIke (In Working, One Learns) gives Hāna youth a way to learn that makes sense to them: hands in the soil, tools in hand, building real things for their own community. Along the way it builds their self-esteem and shows them they have the power to change their future. When you ride with us, a piece of your day stays in Hāna and goes to work for the next generation.

Boxed Water
Maui has more trash than it can handle, so the water on board comes in paper cartons, not plastic bottles. It is one small piece of the island-wide push to cut plastic, and we are glad to be part of it.
Reef Safe Sunscreen
You will pick up plenty of island ʻike, knowledge, on tour. Start here: most sunscreens contain oxybenzone, which harms coral and people alike. We will steer you to reef safe options before anyone gets in the water.
Electric Vehicles
We are moving toward an all-electric fleet. Ask about an electric vehicle when you book; availability varies, and every vehicle we add gets us closer. Conscious luxury: the best for your group and for the planet.
